Purchase Order node on Material Workbench

Hi,

Can someone give us the functionality of 'Purchase Order' node on Material Workbench for Inbound.

Eg. I have created a standard PO with Standard Receipt Routing and am expecting the same PO to be appeared in 'Purchase Order' Node of Material Workbench, which is not happening currently. Both Promise Date And Need by Date on PO are sys date.

Lets me know your opinion on my understanding.
