Does Oracle accept service request for RAC 12c working on Vmware Vsphere?

Hi, just a question...

Based on this document: Support Position for Oracle Products Running on VMWare Virtualized Environments (Doc ID 249212.1) and this link https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/whitepaper/solutions/oracle/understanding_oracle_certi…

It says,  Oracle will only accept Service Requests as described in this note on Oracle RAC 11.2.0.2 and later releases.

What happen with 12cR2? Is that release considered when the document mention "later releases"? I know that install RAC 12cR2 in VMWare Vsphere is possible but is that version supported and validated with VMWare Vsphere?
