Secure employee Bank Account Change/Hack

Hello Everyone.

We're running Oracle E-Business Applications R12.2.5 version in our production environment. The current architecture of the E-Business applications is the External Application Tier is in DMZ and the internal Applications is in Intranet zone.

Our current Major/Critical issue is in the production system is our multiple Employees Bank Account information is stolen/Hack, so basically the Employees Direct Deposit Account being changed/Hack and they apparently lost their paycheck.

Currently, we're a critical security problem and I am sure if this is a right group to ask this question.

Basically, we're are looking for your advice, direction, and solution to prevent this issue in the future. Please let us know the holistic approach to secure the environment and tackle this kind of issues or any security vulnerabilities. Current we’re looking into applying the latest October 2018 Applications and Database CPU patches.
