Organizational Structure (P0006A) Vs BU Category Codes (P0006)

Hi guys,

I am trying to prepare a reporting structure like a Divisional Income  to see profitability on different  dimensions like division , region , etc.  Can somebody please clarify me what is the difference between the use of the Organizational structure (hierarchy + Cat codes) Vs the simple use of Cat Codes  on the BU?
