total net book value is coverted as total depreciation amount after life years

Hi SME',

Please let me know the reason why remaining total net book value is converted as depreciation amount after end of the asset life. as per my knowledge this amount should exist in NBV and keep as it till retirement of the asset.

which setups are doing this action.
