Merger of two companies - Mainenance History

Hi,

We have a scenario in which a group having two separate companies are merged (both using independently eAM system). Now we need to run one maintenance system, my questions are:

1- Is it possible to move maintenance history of company B into company A (who acquired company ?

2- Should we need to redefine Assets in company A or is there any other way to handle assets defined for company B in company A?
