Need to define Accounting Rule for Rental Advance incomes

Hello Team,

Could you please let us know, how do we create accoutning rules for rental income advances which gets frequently.

We are planning to define accounting rules for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and for a year. So that user can select the accounting rule as per advance amount they can get and selects the invoicing rule as "In-Advance" at the time of creating a transaction.

Please let us know if there is any better way to do.
