Create Accounting performance issue after changing Automatic OffSet Method

We have 2 OU's under 1 Ledger.

In 1 OU, Automatic OffSet Method is set to None

In 2 OU, Automatic OffSet Method is set to Balancing

Now, business decided that the setting should be None for 1st OU.

When i changed in test instance and run Create Accounting, Program is taking forever to run.

Is this expected ?
