My system options -> user profile revision

Hi All,

We are on 9.1/TR 9.2. I would like to understand following:

What is use of user Profile Revision option under My system options?

What all scenarios where this option should be enabled?

From security point of view, what are recommendations?

By default, I notice that User ID field has User ID which is logged into web. Is this by design as I do not find any column security applied on this?

Looking at About , it shows as P0092L. Is this because of TR 9.2?
