ACME to answer PCU SIP-OPTIONS

hI,

Consider the typical IP2IP scenario with ACME SD4600 (v8). A side supprts and intitiate SIP -OPTIONS and B side don't support SIP -OPTIONS
Some SIP carriers do not support the SIP-OPTIONS method.

1.1 Is it possible for ACME to reply directly to the PCU SIP-OPTIONS ? How?
1.2 If this is possible, then we would need another method to audit the remote SIP carrier.

2)Is it possible for ACME itself to audit the status of a remote Session Agent?
If the "ping-method" is used in SA configuration, can we specify another SIP method instead of OPTIONS?
What other auditing method could we use on ACME for that purpose? e.g. using a standard ICMP/PING method?
