Case Insensitive String Compare API

Hi Everyone,

Currently JDE jdeStrcmp API is comparing stings case sensitive.  Does anyone know if JDE have an API that can compare string without case sensitivity or an API that can change a string to all upper or lower case?  We are  trying to do string compare without case sensitivity and we searched the API library without any findings.
