Unable to close Ar transactions

I am unable to close AR period as we are on 11.5.10.2. When trying to

close AR period, it says ""APP-AR-11332: You must post all transactions

in this period before you close it"". I ran

unposted item report all the reports which gives ""No data

exists"". The general ledger transfer program does not return any error or issues of sorts What could be the reason behind period not getting closed.
