Credit check failure

Hi All,

I am facing below issue :

when a sales order is entered, a "Credit Check failure" hold gets applied on the sales order.

Credit limit is 5000 USD and there are no open orders , so feel that this should not get applied.

Hence further to my investigation, I found that  Customer "Account Profile ", Both - "Credit Check" and "Credit Hold" is checked and when "Credit Hold" is checked , "Hold gets applied" even though we have Credit limit for the customer ", so when I unchecked the "Credit Hold " , the i was able to Entered and Booked the SO without credit failure Hold.( screen shot attached )
