Sample script for API/interface to update a repetative schedule

There is a requirement to update the DFF defined for the repetitive schedule. We need a sample script for the API or the interface table to perform the same. Can this be done using WIP Mass Load? what would be the load type and other options to achieve the same? Could anyone please confirm if they have done this and help me with a sample script? Thanks in advance.
