2018 1098T 1098-T SUBMISSION FILE ERROR

in Campus Solutions - PSFT (MOSC)

Several customers have reported the IRS is giving an error for the Test Submission of the 2018 1098-T file.

'A' record(s) has an incorrect/invalid type of return and/or amount code(s) in positions 26-43.

Refer to Publication 1220 or contact your software company or service provider for more information.

Record sequence number 2 is the first known record containing this error

This problem exists for both release 9.0 and 9.2.

Development has been made aware of the problem and a Workaround is available.  Please see Doc ID 2473450.1 - 2018 1098T 1098-T SUBMISSION FILE ERROR for more information and the Workaround.
