Challenge with Journal Effective Date and Posting Date

Hi

A journal is created on the 07Nov2018, system automatically assumes same date as effective date, however the journal is not posted until 16Nov2018.

This means that whatever balance has been reported prior to the posting from 07Nov2018 to 15Nov2018 is incorrect. What we'd prefer to have is that the effective date of the journal be SYSDATE, this way, it'll take whatever SYSdate it is posted as the effective date.

How can this be achieved?
