Is it possible to create sperate depreciation line for each source lines for asset code in FA?

We are having business requirement of capturing depreciation calculated for particular source line. My understanding is that it is calculated at asset level and identification of source line is not possible.Is it possible to modify the SLA and account the depreciation for asset code at source line level?
