Disk buffer for copyDomain

Hi experts,

I ran copyDomain to back up a domain on my test env.

nohup copyDomain -d /rpas/sbx/na/domains/lialc/LIA -dest /rpas/sbx/na/domains/lialc/LIA_BAK -maxProcesses 40 &

The source domain is about 700G and the hard disk is 1.8T in total. So there was about 1T space is available. But during the progress, the usage of disk was over 95% and kept growing. And the destination domain folder is over 800G.

So I had to kill the process.

Is it normal?

How much space is safe for copyDomain utility?
