JRE8 for Oracle EBS vs. Open JDK JRE8

Please share your experience of using Open source JDK/JRE8 by Oracle EBS users  (R12.1.3) vs using the Oracle Java Run Time Environment (Oracle JRE) 8 by EBS users.

What are our options after JRE8 for the EBS users? We have license for EBS , so would it include the future JRE upgrades/patching or we would need a separate licensing for that in future?
