Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. I'm planning to upgrade our R12.1 to latest. We are solaris sparc.

1. Can the Stage are be created and patched ahead of time on Production box ? Is there any downside to that?
