Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. We are planning to upgrade the R12.1.3 to R12.2.8 on Solaris

q. Can I go ahead and create the stage Area and patch it on Production box ahead of time ( a day or two) before starting the upgrade process?

2. Will that have any impact on the Production?
