Customise Interface Data File Formats E commerce Gateway

Hello,

Need suggestions on how to keep R12 E Commerce gateway interface file definition layout same as 11i.

Actually we are in situation where we cannot risk changing our layouts when moving it to R12 from 11i. It will impact our EDI translation tool as existing mapping is done with 11i layouts.

We have compared 11i layouts with R12 layouts are there are many changes like addtion of new fields and changing name for existing fields. Also in may cases column positions are also changing.

Please advise.
