Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. E-Business Tax (MOSC)

Error message while calculating tax during invoice entry

While creating an invoice in AP, trying to calculate tax, the following error message arises:

Payables could not calculate tax due to: an unexpected error has occurred. Please contact your system administrator

If we have a look to the tax debug log file we can find the following:
