channel ch2 disabled, job failed on it will be run on another channel

Hello All,

We have RMAN(11.2.0.4) on Solaris 10, reports - channel ch2 disabled, job failed on it will be run on another channel. Does this means we have a failed backup or as the text says this work-load has been passed on to another channel and completed. Actual backup report as below

ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
