Datasource bip_datasource is not working yet no issues have been observed, how is this possible?

HI Everyone,

We have a Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.0  installation where every deployment is targeted to Admin server itself, no managed servers are there. There are 3 data sources: BIP_DATASOURCE, MDS_OWSM and EPMSystemRegistry. out of these three only mds-owsm is active which is using the BI_MDS schema, the other two using BIPLATFORM schema is inactive as the database user is locked out. Even though we have errors coming in the Admin logs and bipublisher logs for the connection to these 2 data sources, still the Admin server is connected and xmlpserver is working as well. We have schedules reports which are running fine too.
