ODA X7 HA patching --local --node

We are running Oracle 12.2 on ODA X7 HA (2 nodes RAC).

We are trying to eliminate downtime when applying ODA bundle patches.

Commands "odacli update-server" and "odacli update-dbhome" have the options/parameters --local and --node.

With these parameters, It seems that the patch can be applied one node at the time. In theory, it eliminates database downtime.

Has anybody used the options --local or --node when applying patch through  "odacli update-server" and "odacli update-dbhome"?

For some reason the Oracle documentation below doesn't mention these options (--local or --node).
