Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Why would OEM (in backup reports) list db input size as twice actual DB size?

rman incremental level 0 hot backup writing to an EMC data domain backup appliance.

DB size (segments) = 41TB

OEM backup reports input size as = 82TB.

We accumulate about 1/2 TB of redo a day, but certainly no where near enough to account for another 41TB.
