Indexed allocation with units

I am trying to allocate balances using indexed allocations in jde 9.1. The ledgers have amount as well as balance, both AA and AU ledgers. When I run the compute program to allocate the balances with frequence MO and Method B for balances, I do not see the units column getting allocated. The allocations are set to transfer from AA to AA ledgers, since system doesnt let change the ledger type to AU on the allocation screen.
