BI Publisher (xmlpserver) Web Services - SSO

Hi All

When calling xmlpserver web services ( e.g. xmlpserver/services/v2/CatalogService) you are required to pass a userid and password in the body of the request, but when using SSO this information isn't available, however the user has already been authenticated and should be returned from the WebLogic principal.  Anyone know of a way of achieving this?
