Voting disk corruption

Hi,

My customer has a 2-node RAC setup with 1 voting disk.  He finds that, provided the private interconnect is in place and the heartbeat between the nodes is working functioning correctly, and no manipulation of the cluster resources is performed, if the voting disk becomes corrupted or unavailable, everything appears to continue as normal. Surprised by this, he looked through every log file which he could find, and found no reference to the fact that the voting disk had become inaccessible. Where, if at all, is the fact that the voting disk is no longer avalable, recorded - i.e.

Howdy, Stranger!
