What could be the possible impact if we change the Subinventory Locator control from "Pre specified"

Hello,

We have a subinventory which has locator control set as "Pre specified". We are planning to create work orders of hard pegged items through ASCP with this subinventory as completion subinventory. However, as per MOS note (Cannot Create the Discrete Job via WIP Mass Load on PJM Enabled Organization (Doc ID 2088967.1), the completion subinventory can no longer be having control as "Pre specified".

Can you please help us determine what could be the possible impact if we plan to change the locator control from "Pre specified" to "Dynamic entry"? Please not that the subinventory already contains on-hand stock.

I am aware that every Oracle solution is different and it is impossible to list all the possible impact zones for anyone without having holistic understanding of the solution. However I am more interested in knowing any learning from past experiences or simply listing the areas that we should focus our testing on while making this change.
