Peoplesoft Grants Proposal Attachment Failed

Hi,

We are facing an issue while trying to add attachment to Grants proposal. Please help us understand if we are doing something wrong from our end. One reason could be that we are trying to add the file from out system and it start with C:\ which could be creating the issue. Below are the details:

Navigation : Grants > Proposals > Maintain Proposal (Select and existing proposal or create a new one)

Go to the tab : Attachments and click on Add attachment. Example, C:\Users\Document\TEST.PDF

Peoplesoft is giving the below error:

AddAttachment failed (137,2)

An error occurred while attempting to upload the file you selected.  This may be because the file's name contains a character we treat as invalid (* : " < > ?).  If so, please appropriately rename your file and try again.
