Reclaiming space after purge job

Hi,

We are using OTM 6.3.7 version and using OTM's purge job to delete the data older than 30 days from I_TRANSMISSION and I_TRANSACTION but our DBA team is saying that the database is not reclaiming the space after purge. Have someone encountered the same issue? What shall we do to reclaim the space?

One option given by our DBA is to run some reclaim job at database but it required almost 1 days of downtime which is not possible.

Any recommendations around this are highly appreciated,
