Xstore 17.1 - CashDrawerPresentVisbilityRule removal question

Hello,

I had a question regarding the removal of references to the CashDrawerPresentVisibilityRule. In previous versions of Xstore (V15) this rule was applied to the No Sale action. In V17 it appears any references to this rule have been removed but the class itself still exists. Does anyone know why? I know that V17 introduces functionality to integrate with IP cash drawers/printers and the 24/7 rolling close functionality but wasn't sure if this rule was removed because of that. I ask because we are upgrading from v15 to v17 and am trying to determine whether or not to re apply the
