BP Email Error

Is anyone familiar with the error message below where an Unifier BP email notification includes a failure result of "Email address null does not match the task assignee information." ?

I noticed that the current step for this record seems to be functioning fine, so I am unsure of what this error is trying to indicate.  Any ideas would be helpful.
