We have a Oracle 10g database, no more support, after we moved to HP container, it begun corrupted frequently with ORA600 error, after applying the strong memory ordering according to HP article, the db stabilized , however, it is slow now, users complains, and from maintence experience, the RMAN runs 3.5 times slower than before, it was taking about 3.3 hours now took almost 12 hours. Any one had same experience? what is the resolution?

>> CONCLUSION: issue of oracle database crashing with ora-0600 errors. aries could cause the oracle database to crash. enabling aries strong memory ordering should prevent the crashing.

To implement the strong memory ordering, the hp9000 containers admin guide, detailed.
