Project Budgets in Project Costing 9.2 - Allocating to Budget Items
I’m wondering if anyone doing budgeting in Project Costing that could help us. We would like to set up budgets in PC and use the Budget to Actual reporting in the system. We have been successful setting up project budgets, finalizing them, sending them to KK, etc. The part that does not seem to be working is actual costs getting associated with the budget items that we have set up and are in our detail budget. The costs post against the budget, but are always shown as UN-ALLOCATED.
We’ve done a lot of testing with variations on the set-up of the Project and ChartField values on the Budget Item, but have not found a configuration that works. We thought maybe that there is a job that still needs to run, but since the cost is getting to the budget it seems like everything has processed.
