Developing Enterpise Applications

Dear Sir,

I want to ask two questions regarding development enterprise applications. Lately I was confused about which oracle development software do I have to use in order to create an enterprise application. First, I have been working with oracle forms 6i and since Forms 10g oracle is not adding features to new versions of oracle forms 11g and 12c as if Oracle will not enhance anymore this product. Later, I used Oracle ADF for development but it seemed it s too heavy as I have read in a couple of documents. When oracle acquired Sun I moved to java and JEE.
