Can seeded SLAM be replaced by a custom SLAM in live Ledger?

Dear community,

We are deploying Financials (R12.2.7) for multiple entities in a French client, who already uses eBS Inventory, Cost Management and WIP for some of the entities in scope.

Being a French client all Ledgers (existing live ones and new) must use Permanent Inventory SLAM for Cost Management.

To comply with the requirement we configured a new SLAM to which we assigned the Permanent Inventory AAD (As per existing Oracle documentation for Permanent Inventory using PLA). The new SLAM was then assigned to the existing live Ledgers and the new ones as well. The existing live Ledgers are manufacturing entities and the new Ledgers are distribution entities.
