Question About Post CPU patch installation scripts

We are upgrading from 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2 in a dataguard environment and are planning to install the 20181016CPU and OJVM patches to 

new Oracle 12c home before we do the upgrade. My question is: do we need to run post installation scripts for CPU or OJVM or will

the database upgrade assistant take care of running the scripts.
