Hyperion Planning member formula error

1. I have a dynamically calculated member in my Accounts dense dimension ("Bond Placement Fees")

2. I later attempt to use this existing dynamic calc member from step #1 above ("Bond Placement Fees") in a member formula of another Account member ("Advisory Fees Rate"), but I get errors.

 

Error 1: When the member formula of "Advisory Fees Rate" is this simply "Bond Placement Fees"; I get this error:

Error compiling formula for [] (line 1): invalid expression return typ

 

Error 2: When the member formula of "Advisory Fees Rate" is "Bond Placement Fees" / "Advisory Fees Volume"; I get another error:

Error compiling formula for [] (line 1): expected type [NUMBER] found [STRING] (["Bond Placement Fees"]) in function [operator
