Where do the database listener and tnsnames info reside in RAC with EBS?

Note 1070607.1 says Both the SCAN and Node listeners run from the grid oracle home. This is the recommend setup.

On EBS rapidclone and autoconfig update the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files for the listener in the $ORACLE_HOME. The grid home is different.

What do you do in this case when you have EBS?

When I run crsctl start has, it starts the listener.  The config files are in the $ORACLE_HOME, not the grid home,

I also run srvctl start listener -l PRD to start the listener..

How is this right or wrong in relation to the statement that " Node listeners run from the grid oracle home".?
