Annual close

We are planning on running annual close immediately at the end of the year. We have many companies in JDE 9.1 and would like to close all the companies to their respective retained earnings account as specified in AAI. We typically run each time for separate companies. However if we include all companies in the same run, will they all roll to their respective companies retained earning?
