Will ECO - Mass change retain BOM quantities or default quantity to 1?

Hi Team,

Business is planning for a Mass change ECO to replace few component items in BOMs. However they mentioned that the component quantities were not retained in the BOM but were defaulted to 1. In this case they are not 2 different items but this change is happening due to a naming convention. Though Oracle will still consider it as a separate item is there a way where Mass change can retain the quantity and replace only the item name?
