Server Request and Delete Interval

What's the difference between below two BS ?

Server Requests

Asynchronous Server Requests

Using Server Request BS, requests can be submitted either by Async or Sync mode

Is there any recommendation from Oracle to use Server Requests BS instead of Asynchronous Server Requests ?

What will be the user of Delete Interval ?

If Delete interval is not provided then Async requests in S_SRM table will not be deleted ?
