Oracle Alerts

Hello all,

We have 2 periodic alerts which are scheduled every Monday and Wednesday at 5am. These alerts are disabled for 6 months, we then got a request to enable the alert back on. I enabled the alerts on Monday at 2pm. Next morning I see that both the alerts for Monday and Wednesday are triggered. Can I get some help why did it trigger both the alerts even if the schedule dates are different?
