How can I modify the create a project search by to include "Classification Description" instead of j

With the changes introduced in CU3 on Projects 12.1.3 Delta 7 pushed a change (reference 3.2.4.1) in 'Create Project' page, the quick entry field for 'Classification' is no displayed as a list of values instead of a dropdown choice list.  The change was made to accommodate larger values for classifications and to easily search and locate the desired classification value.  For us the opposite occurred.  The LOV now displays the "classification name" which is an abbreviation and does not show the "classification description" which is the longer more description that we need to see.  I'm trying to determine how I
