A/R Post to Cash Management (ISTC) Flag

Hi,


Reading Oracle documentation on the subject, I understand that when you run Statistical history Update UBE (R03B16A), it updates ISTC flag on processed records in few tables (F03B11, F03B112, F03B13 and F03B14) and updates data in F03B16 and F03B13S tables.  The flag value of 1 prevents the system from processing these records again.  My question is, is the flag used for any other purpose?

We have an issue with our statistical history tables.  When we ran UBE R06B16A, it updated the flag on the records in above mentioned tables, it also populated records in tables F03B16 and F03B16S.  But some important fields in those tables (e.g. DSO, "Invoiced This year", "Invoiced Last Year" etc.) either have no value or a wrong value.  To fix it, I am thinking that I would blank out the flag on all the records (except doc type R5)  in base tables, clear all records in F06B16 and F03B16S and re-run the process.  Will it cause any other issues?  Is
