How do I delete an unused business process

I have a payment application that I would like to delete.   We used it for research, but decided to start over with a new bp.   The 1st bp has been deployed in staging, but has not been published to production.

The new payment application needs to reference the same contract sov that the previous application used.  Unifier will not allow me to deploy with two payment applications referencing the same reference commit.  I do not want to create a new ref commit for the new pay ap, as that would mean recreating or modifying more bps.

Is there any way to delete the first payment application?  Or an easier fix.   I tried inactivating the first payment application. but that did not do anything.
