Fsck fails - terminated by signal 11

Had a kernel panic and, despite server rebooting, one of the mounts failed to remount. Solaris 10 BTW.

As below:-

root@dat-pl2 # mount /CW/oracle/data/PRD

mount: The state of /dev/md/prd-dg/dsk/d350 is not okay

and it was attempted to be mounted read/write

mount: Please run fsck and try again

So run :-

fsck -F ufs -y /dev/md/prd-dg/rdsk/d350

Runs for about 10 minutes then aborts with:-

fsck: warning: the following command (process 11847) was terminated by signal 11 and dumped core

fsck -F ufs -y /dev/md/wckprd-dg/rdsk/d350

Howdy, Stranger!
